How a Fyin.com Team Member Became Truly Mythical

What’s the first thing you think of when you think of a team of world-class developers? Are you picturing quiet coders who “don’t get out much?” Introverts who chug Mountain Dew all day long? Well, you haven’t met our crew!

Fyin.com’s development team is an eclectic collection of adventurers, sports enthusiasts, and critical thinkers. Several members of the team recently hiked into the remote wilderness for a camping trip. Past excursions have also included a day of downhill mountain biking. Another perk of being a Fyin.com employee: access to a ski condo in Winter Park, Colorado. Winter Park has hosted many skiing and snowboarding adventures for our team. We take the old “work hard, play hard” adage seriously. You’ll even find a foosball table in the Denver office!

A few of our team members currently play on an adult kickball league. There is a twist: players must have “cup in hand” - a cup filled to a specific level with beer or other liquid - in order to score, tag people out, and so forth. As you can imagine, there is a lot of good-natured ribbing that takes place. Scott, one of our Umbraco Masters, was recently the object of some of that teasing. He declined some candy that was offered to him, and he was turned into a centaur as a result. Currently, we are all using this amazing image as the background picture on our computers.
